A SUCCINCT EXPLANATION OF THE PROJECT:
The starting point of this project was the combination of my daily occupations with a very neutral self-portrait.
The aim was to create a graphic relation between my working life and my own.
I created a code for variouns activites of my daytime and applied this code to the 31 days of August 2009 which results in a nearly endless string of numbers only understandable to those having access to the code.
Adding colors to the different layers, one on top of the other, enhanced the graphical scheme of the picture.
The picture reveals it’s depth only to those who change their point of view. Being very close you will be lost in the numbers, whereas standing further away will leave you with a view at the portrait.
